Privacy fencing and other fence types

Privacy fencing is the most common request we get, solid boards with no gaps, tall enough to block sightlines from neighbouring yards or the street. Cedar and pressure-treated wood both work well for this, and vinyl privacy panels are an option where low maintenance matters more than the look of real wood.

We also build shorter picket-style fences for a more open look along a front yard, and can match an existing fence style if you're extending or replacing a section rather than fencing a whole property.

Choosing a material

Pressure-treated wood is the most budget-friendly option and can be stained to match your preference. Cedar costs more but has a natural resistance to rot and insects without chemical treatment, and ages to a silver-grey if left unstained. Vinyl costs the most upfront but needs essentially no maintenance beyond an occasional wash.
